So this is happening tonight. The Maya kinda sorta hinted at something happening at the end of their calendar so instead of thinking it will be something awesome, we say “end of the world!”.
Look! there it is, its happening before your eyes so it must be true.

Reading this made me really sad. After reading this comic you see the main character go through so much and then finally meet the love of his life. This made me sad not only because he gets trapped in between two timelines, but because he never gets to see his wife again. He has to sacrifice himself to save the world from a mess he made himself. To spend the rest of your life without the one you love would be pure torture, but he made the sacrifice anyway.Posted on November 26, 2012 via with 5 notes

Sadface
Today is my first day back to my normal schedule and I see that my favorite web comic, Ctrl+Alt+Del, has ended.
The comic started in 2002 and I’ve been reading it since 2005. I first got into it when it was being hosted on gamerevolution.com and saw the awesomeness that it was. When I saw how awesome it was, I went back and read the entire catalog and haven’t missed a step since.
I’m getting the same feeling people get when their favorite tv show ends. They feel like they know the characters and have some personal connection. I’ve seen the characters go from video game nerds with random silliness to a serious story arc that went on for 5+ years.
Although the comic is getting “rebooted” in the words of the writer, it won’t be the same. The writer doesn’t want it to be the same.
So today is a sadface but I am excited to see what is to come.
